3M PPS Paint Preparation System

The 3M PPS System allows spray finishers the ability to quickly change between products such as stains and clearcoats without the hassle of cleaning their spraygun's OEM spraycup.

The 3M PPS Adapter fitting is attached to the spraygun's regular cup connection and establishes a dedicated coupling that is used to attach the 3M PPS spray cup assembly.

The adapter can be left on the spraygun indefinitely and the single adapter will accomodate all sizes of the PPS Cup Assemblies. You can quickly switch from a 175ml (6oz) cup loaded with dye to a 650ml (3/4 quart) cup with clear lacquer. You simply clean the gun body during the switch.

The 3M PPS Spray Cups consist of a hard outer shell and collar. These are durable long-life components. Optional graduated measurement sleeves are available but not required for all applications.

A disposable collapsing plastic liner and lid with integrated filter are inserted into the hard cup, filled with product and the collar is screwed on.

The filled cup assembly is then attached to the PPS coupler on the spraygun and you are ready to spray. By pulling the trigger while inverted all air is evacuated from the cup to create an air free cup that can be used in any orientation without sucking air.
